Business Terms & Conditions

These Business Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Jondoe (“Jondoe,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and any business, brand, or authorized representative (“Business,” “you,” or “your”) that submits information, content, images, offers, or otherwise participates in the Jondoe platform.

By submitting information or participating in any way on the Jondoe platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. About Jondoe

Jondoe is a curated date-planning platform designed to help couples discover high-quality local businesses and experiences in San Diego, California.

Jondoe selects and features businesses based on internal curation, editorial judgment, and overall experience quality.
Jondoe is not a booking agent, reseller, event organizer, or service provider unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

2. Business Submissions & Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information—including business name, location, pricing, descriptions, hours, offers, and images—is accurate, current, and lawful.

  • Jondoe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any business information displayed.

  • Jondoe is not responsible for errors, omissions, outdated information, or changes made after submission.

  • Jondoe may edit, format, shorten, or remove submitted content for clarity, consistency, or quality.

3. No Guarantee of Inclusion or Placement

Submitting a business does not guarantee inclusion, placement, or continued presence on the Jondoe platform.

Jondoe reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve, reject, suspend, reposition, or remove any listing at any time, with or without notice.

4. Discounts, Offers & Visibility

If a Business voluntarily offers a discount, perk, or special benefit to Jondoe users:

  • The Business agrees to honor the offer exactly as described.

  • The offer must be available to all eligible Jondoe users without hidden conditions.

  • Businesses offering verified discounts may receive increased visibility or preference, at Jondoe’s discretion.

Failure to honor an offered discount may result in:

  • Removal of the offer

  • Suspension or removal of the business listing

  • Permanent removal from the platform

All enforcement decisions are made solely by the Jondoe team and are final.

5. Pricing & Fees

At launch, Jondoe does not charge users or businesses to be listed on the platform.

However:

  • Jondoe reserves the right to introduce paid features, partnerships, sponsorships, or premium placements in the future.

  • Any future fees will be communicated in advance.

  • Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

Jondoe may also charge businesses that request inclusion, premium placement, or promotional opportunities. Pricing and terms will be discussed directly with the Jondoe team.

6. Editorial Independence & Curation

Jondoe operates as a curated platform.

Listings are selected based on experience quality, relevance, and alignment with Jondoe’s mission.
Jondoe is not required to list all businesses or maintain listings indefinitely.

7. Images, Content & Usage Rights

By submitting images, logos, or written content, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have permission to share it.

  • You grant Jondoe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, edit, and distribute the content for app listings, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Requests to remove content will be honored when possible, but Jondoe is not responsible for content already published or distributed.

8. No Responsibility for Business Operations

Jondoe is not responsible or liable for:

  • Business operations, services, pricing, availability, food safety, or customer experience

  • Disputes between users and businesses

  • Cancellations, refunds, injuries, dissatisfaction, or losses

All interactions and transactions occur directly between the Business and the user.

9. Termination

Jondoe may suspend or terminate a listing at any time if a Business:

  • Violates these Terms

  • Submits misleading information

  • Fails to honor offers

  • Negatively impacts user trust or platform integrity

Termination decisions are final.

10. Updates to These Terms

Jondoe may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect upon posting. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
